The Power of Network Marketing

The Price Of The Promise

Mark Yarnell, minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and just about to lose his car and home. He looked for a way out and discovered network marketing. Luckily, he had a wise sponsor.

The sponsor gave Mark "THE PROMISE". "This business can set you free financially in one to three years.." But he also gave him "THE PRICE" "To succeed, you will have to face and conquer 4 major enemies."

Mark said, "It's a deal."

Mark began by inviting 200 friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said "No, not interested"

- Mark had encountered ENEMY #1: Rejection.

He thought, "No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I've got120 people still coming over." Guess what?

- He had just encountered ENEMY #2: Deception.

Mark thought, "No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I've got 70 people who watched the tape." Guess what? 57 said "Not Interested".

- He had just encountered ENEMY #3: Apathy.

Undaunted, Mark thought, "No problem. 13 people signed up." Guess what? 12 of them dropped out of the business shortly thereafter.

- He had just encountered ENEMY #4: Attrition.

Attrition had left Mark with just one serious associate. But to this day, that single distributor earns Markover $50,000 per month.

Mark Yarnell's story is NOT Unique!

You may have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful distributors in Amway. Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on Amway. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers - several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn't sell. During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, "Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What's your secret?"

He replied, "There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said, 'No' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious, and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire." Like Mark Yarnell, Bill worked through the numbers..

Jason Boreyko, former co-founder of New Vision, told this story recently. When he was a distributor in Matol, he signed up 50 people. He heard a lot of "No's" on the way to those 50. Jason took one man, who he knew would be terrific in the business to lunch, told him about the business and the man said "No." Jason took the man to lunch again the next month and told him the updates. Once again the man said, "No." Jason sent him some more information and took him to lunch again the next month. And again the man said, "No." That went on for six months. The seventh month, something had changed for the man, and he said, "Yes." That man made Jason over one million dollars. Jason also worked through his numbers.

According to Richard Poe in Wave Three while starting Amway, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, America's eleventh richest people, recruited 500 people. 495 dropped out. The five that didn't quit built Amway. All $7 billion of Amway's business was built under those 5 people. Jay and Rich had to work through their numbers. There are many similar stories. Jeff, the top money earner in Mannatech, signed up 27 people his first month.

One might think that he is especially talented at sponsoring. Actually, Jeff will be the first to tell you that he is not talented at all.

In fact, he feels that he did very poorly. To recruit those 27, Jeff talked to 2000 people that first month. And of the 27, the only one who did anything significant with the business was Ray Gebauer, who has more than half of Mannatech in his downline.

Jeff's word to you is that the numbers never lie. Pick your goal and then get into massive action. If you talk to enough people, you will make it!

Here's the lesson: Your success is directly related to the degree to which you are willing to work to find others like yourself who are committed to succeed. Mark Yarnell's odds were 1 out of 50. (Jeff's were really 1 out of 2000.) Would you be willing to go through 200 people to find the 1 who will make you $50,000 a month? Or go through 200 people to become a millionaire? Or hear uncounted "No's" to sign up 50 people to find a million dollar person? I hope you will. It's easier when you know the odds up front.

But here's the catch: You have your own set of odds and you won't know what they are until AFTER YOU'VE SUCCEEDED. So if you've gone through 50 or 100 people and you haven't found 1 serious person yet, you can either give up and assume the business doesn't work or recognize that you are working through your own numbers.

Are you willing to find out what your own set of odds is?

That means that you must pay the price for freedom. Remember that the numbers never fail you. Despite where you are in your skill level, your success is assured if you talk to enough people. And as your skill improves, so will your odds.

There is no such thing as luck in this industry. Winning big is a matter of being willing to pay the price. Are you?

Your future is in your hands! The choices which you make today will determine the course of your entire future!

Baby Carrots and Cancer

Timing is always interesting. My sister just sent me this. I do buy baby carrots and it's not because they are aesthetic, but because it's quick and easy to grab them. But I don't always get to eat them that fast and they do get the white "glow" to them. Scary to think what is in the foods we eat. Read more...

Subject: Baby Carrots

The following is information from a farmer who grows and packages carrots for IGA, METRO, LOBLAWS, etc

The small cocktail (baby) carrots you buy in small plastic bags are made using the larger crooked or deformed carrots which are put through a machine which cuts and shapes them into cocktail carrots - most people probably know this already.

What you may not know and should know is the following:
Once the carrots are cut and shaped into cocktail carrots they are dipped in a solution of water and chlorine in order to preserve them) this is the same chlorine used in your pool).

Since they do not have their skin or natural protective covering, they give them a higher dose of chlorine.

You will notice that once you keep these carrots in your refrigerator for a few days, a white covering will form on the carrots. This is the chlorine which resurfaces.
At what cost do we put our health at risk to have esthetically pleasing vegetables?

Chlorine is a very well-known carcinogen, which causes Cancer..
I thought this was worth passing on. Pass it on to as many people as possible in hopes of informing them where these carrots come from and how they are processed.

I used to buy those baby carrots for vegetable dips. I know that I will never buy them again!!!!

Today Good Nutrition is Not Enough

Dr. Charles Mabray said that good health isn’t the result of a one-time shot. We can’t take a supplement, even one as wonderful as MaxGXL or Max N-Fuze, for a month or two and expect a lifetime of good health.

We need to continue to take such supplements, but we also need to exercise regularly, get enough sleep and eat well. If we smoke or knowingly put other toxins or free radicals into our bodies we need to stop.

Even when we do things that are good for the body we need to refuel. Dr. Keller pointed out that during a workout the body uses up a lot of glutathione, vitamins and minerals. It’s no wonder that the bodies of well-conditioned professional athletes, who compete at the highest levels, need time to recover.

MaxGXL does not replace the need for high quality, targeted nutrients. Vitamins and minerals are essential to the health of the cell. When you look at the basics that every cell needs Max N-Fuze becomes another vital piece of the puzzle.

Like MaxGXL it supports the body’s own natural cellular function. Max N-Fuze, in addition to supporting glutathione production and leptin sensitivity, provides vitamins B, C, D and E, CoQ10, and supports the production of the critical antioxidants, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase. Dr. Davidson believes MaxGXL and Max N-Fuze are a one-two punch providing the cells the nutrients they need for total cell health.

HOTEL KEY CARDS...Better Save Then Sorry

Subject: HOTEL KEY CARDS...

Dear All,

This is pretty good info. Never even thought about key
cards containing
anything other than an access code for the room!

Ever wonder what is on your magnetic key card?

Answer:
a. Customer's name
b. Customer's partial home address
c. Hotel room number
d. Check-in date and out dates
e. Customer's credit card number and expiration date!

When you turn them in to the front desk your personal information is there for any employee to access by simply scanning the card in the hotel scanner. An employee can take a hand full of
cards home and using a scanning device, access the information onto a laptop computer and go
shopping at your expense.

Simply put, hotels do not erase the information on these cards until an employee reissues the card to the next hotel guest. At that time, the new guest's information is electronically 'overwritten' on the card and the previous guest's information is erased in the overwriting process.

But until the card is rewritten for the next guest, it usually is kept in a drawer at the front desk with YOUR INFORMATION ON IT!

The bottom line is: Keep the cards, take them home with you, or destroy them.

NEVER leave them behind in the room or room wastebasket, and NEVER turn them into the front desk when you check out of a room.

They will not charge you for the card (it's illegal) and you'll be sure you are not leaving a lot of valuable personal information on it that could be easily lifted off with any simple scanning device card reader..

For the same reason, if you arrive at the airport and discover you still have the card key in your pocket, do not toss it in an airport trash basket. Take it home and destroy it by cutting it up, especially through the electronic information strip!

If you have a small magnet, pass it across the magnetic strip several times. Then try it in the door, it will not work. It erases everything on the card.

Stand By Me

Below is a link to one of the best pieces of sound engineering work I think I have ever seen. It is a composite audio/video of song whereby additional tracks were laid in by different singers and musicians from different places around the world. The finished product is tremendous!

The song itself is that classic standard "Stand By Me" originally released in 1955 by The Staple Singers and released again in 1961 by the Drifters. This composite version is a real toe tapper.

So turn up the speaker volume and [Click Here].

Heroism at it's finest.

This is an amazing story of true heroism.

"Irena Sendler turned ninety-seven in 2007. Mrs. Sendler, a Polish woman, saved 2,500 Jewish children during the Holocaust."

She takes the crying baby into her arms, turns her back on the hysterical mother, and walks off into the night. If she's caught, she and the baby will die. "Promise me my child will live!" the mother cries desperately after her. She turns for a moment. "I can't promise that. But I can promise that if he stays with you, he will die."

Read the rest of her story here.

Things can come to you at the last minute

I Intend that I am willing to wait as long as it takes for my intentions to manifest.

The French have a word "denouement" which, in essence, means that sometimes we are taken to the eleventh hour and fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second - and then the Universe lays everything we intended in our lap. Of course, we tend to think that we can second-guess the Universe by predicting the times when our intentions will manifest for us. But the truth is that we can never really know when things will happen. We can only know that they will happen.

So often human beings sabotage themselves by not trusting that the Universe will bring their creations to them in the perfect timing. The "Knower" is willing to wait until the last minute for his or her intentions to manifest. The "Novice" is not.

Regulate the “Fat Hormones” Lose Weight 4 Ever

Dan Worley - Charlotte, NC
“A few years ago, my dad had a quadruple bypass at the age of 48 when I was in my late twenties. I was working corporate America and I didn’t have time to exercise and go to the gym like I wanted to. So I started to put on some weight and my cholesterol level was 275 to 300. I knew that if I didn’t change some things, I was going to be in the same situation as my dad. A couple of months ago, a friend of mine introduced me to MaxWLX and in the first month I lost 30 pounds and my waist size went from a 33 to a 29. My cholesterol level dropped from 275 to below 200. Now, that lets me feel much better knowing that I may not go down the same path that my dad did. That makes me feel great!”

Beware of Garbage Trucks

Beware of Garbage Trucks

by David J. Pollay

How often do you let other people's nonsense change
your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss,
or an insensitive employee ruin your day? Unless you're the
Terminator, for an instant you're probably set back on your
heels. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly
she can get back her focus on what's important.

Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson.
I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab.
Here's what happened.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded,
and missed the other car's back end by just inches!

The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.
And I mean, he was friendly.
So, I said, "Why did you just do that?
This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!"

And this is when my taxi driver told me what I
now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."

Many people are like garbage trucks.
They run around full of garbage, full of frustration,
full of anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it.
And if you let them, they'll dump it on you.
When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally.

You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.
You'll be happy you did.

So this was it: The "Law of the Garbage Truck."
I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me?
And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people:

at work, at home, on the streets?
It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore."

I began to see garbage trucks.
Like in the movie "The Sixth Sense," the little boy said, "I see Dead People."

Well, now "I see Garbage Trucks."
I see the load they're carrying.
I see them coming to drop it off.
And like my Taxi Driver, I don't make it a personal thing;
I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

One of my favorite football players of all time, Walter Payton,
did this every day on the
football field.
He would jump up as quickly as he hit the ground after being tackled.

He never dwelled on a hit.
Payton was ready to make the next play his best.
Good leaders know they have to be ready for their next meeting.

Good parents know that they have to welcome their children home
from school with hugs and kisses.
Leaders and parents know that they have to be fully present,
and at their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people

do not let Garbage Trucks take over their day.
What about you?
What would happen in your life, starting today,
if you let more garbage trucks pass you by?

Here's my bet.
You'll be happier.

Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so..
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance , TAKE IT!
If it changes your life , LET IT!
Nobody said it would be easy...
They just promised it would be worth it!

When man remembers his spiritual connection to All That Is, he lives in a most joyous state, wherever he is, whatever he is doing

Remember . . .

That which is meant to be yours will come to you. Just as those of you who are aligned with the highest good will eventually experience your highest ideal, so shall your daily needs be met. You need never worry about your survival because there was a special mechanism put into place long ago which regulates and guarantees that everything you need will be there for you in the exact moment that you need it. Oftentimes it will not appear until the instant before it is needed, but you may be assured that while you are waiting you are being strengthened. As you learn to trust in this wondrous process, the obstacles and hardships of life fall by the wayside and are replaced by a serenity that knows no limit.

These times of great upheaval are truly gifts unto you. You are constantly surrounded by an environment that is conducive for bringing out your most fulfilling form of expression. Your ego, the part of you which is in service to yourself, is giving way to a much larger, grander you'the you that is in service to others. You are blossoming in all your glory, and it is this blossoming that you have always longed for. Be open, be available, and, in the meantime, be at peace. Your prayers and intentions are all being answered.

My intention for today is:
I intend that the Sweetest Love imaginable, like a torrent of rushing water, washes simultaneously over and through the hearts of every man, woman, and child who walk this Earth. And I intend, from that moment of Grace forward, that all seven billion of us have a reference point to remind us of how good life can be when we are filled, to the brim, with Love.

Beginner's Luck Opportunity for Growth

The Bridge ~ Step 19 ~ Beginner's Luck

As soon as you see things in new way, with a perspective of gratitude and an opportunity for growth, you will be rewarded immensely

One evening in our spiritual guidance session Tina was talking about invisible influences like emotions, cellphone frequencies, TV and radio waves and so forth which surrounded us. She also said that our Intenders Circles always had invisible beings who gathered around us and that these helpers saw to it that the newcomers" first few intentions were manifested very quickly and in such a way that they couldn't be missed. She jokingly called it a Beginners Luck Factor and said that we should tell those who were new to our Circles not to hold back, but to "go for it" and expect that whatever they were intending would come to them easily and effortlessly. Later, she also told us that it was not really luck at all but a law which calls forth special help from the invisible realms to rally around anyone who chooses to dedicate their intentions to the Highest Good.

My Intention for today is:
I intend that I am open to receive from both expected and unexpected sources.

The Washington Post's Mensa Invitational

The Washington Post's Mensa Invitational once again asked readers to
take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting or
changing one letter, and supply a new definition. Here are this year's winners.

Read them carefully. Each is an artificial word with only one letter altered
from a real word. Some are terrifically innovative:

1. Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you
realize it was your money to start with.

2. Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

3. Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people, that stops
bright ideas from penetrating. The Bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign
of breaking down in the near future.

4. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the
subject financially impotent for an indefinite period of time.

5. Giraffiti: Vandalism spray-painted very, very high.

6. Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person
who doesn't get it.

7. Inoculatte: To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

8. Hipatitis: Terminal coolness.

9. Osteopornosis: A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

10. Karmageddon: It's like, when everybody is sending off all these
really bad vibes, right? And then like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a
serious bummer.

11. Decafalon (n.): The grueling event of getting through the day
consuming only things that are good for you.

12. Glibido: All talk and no action

13. Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when
they come at you rapidly.

14. Arachnoleptic Fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after
you've accidentally walked through a spider web.

15. Beelzebug (n.): Satan in the form of a mosquito, that gets into your
bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

16. Caterpallor (n.): The color you turn after finding half a worm in
the fruit you're eating.

And, the pick of the lot...

17. Ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an asshole

Are You Really Going To Miss This?

What is Steven K. Scott author of "The Greatest Words Ever Spoken" doing in Las Vegas? Who is he partnering with? What is his next Great Venture? Listen for yourself. Decide for yourself.

My Intentions for Today

After watching and listening to Steve Scott in Las Vegas all I can say is I know that I am in the right place and I have made the right decision for myself. I also know that I will see the way to bring this to the right people, the people who I will continue to work with and to grow with.

So be it. So it is said. It is done.

A Life of Abundance

My Intention for today is:
I intend that I always have enough to spare and enough to share.

Most people don't realize it, but hoarding always shuts down the flow of our abundance, while giving always comes back to us in great measure. The mechanics of this phenomenon are easily apparent once we get past our old attitudes about "saving for a rainy day." It works like this: when we hoard something, whether it's our money, our time, our resources, or our energy, we're actually doing it because we've pictured ourself in a situation where we've run out of things. We've envisioned ourself down and out, perhaps even destitute and depressed. Now, this vision is a thought, and it will work its way into physical manifestation just like any other thought we keep our attention on. In other words, by saving for a rainy day, even though our motivation is to have extra resources for later on, we sabotage our future and create the exact opposite of that which we truly desire for ourselves.

Pole Dancer vs Snow Shovel

When asked to draw a picture of what they wanted to be when they grew up, second-grader Sarah turned in the lovely drawing shown below. Needless to say, the teacher was a bit surprised -- Mrs. Smith had always seemed like such a conservative woman. So she sent a note home to the girl's mother asking for clarification as to the picture's meaning. (Read Mom's reply below the picture)

(Here's the reply the teacher received the following day)
Dear Mrs. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.
From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith

My Intention for today is:

"I intend that everything needing to be known is known here today; that all of my words are clear, precise, uplifting, helpful, and fun; that each and everyone of us here is guided, guarded, and protected throughout this entire experience; and that everything we say and do here today serves the highest and best good of the Universe, ourselves, and everyone everywhere. And so be it and so it is!"

Your life is all you make it.

This was shared with me and now I would like to share it with you....

Don't let this be your life's story:

"I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store.
For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid."

Napoleon Hill - Think and Grow Rich

These 72 words have stoked the fires of many lives. Today, I hope they stir the fire that lives in you.

Wishing You The Very Best,

Mindfulness.....

Whether this is really true or not - the message is certainly true.

A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin. It was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousand of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes
went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds - and then hurried up to meet his schedule.

A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping - continued to walk.

A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention, was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried - but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk - turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.

No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.

Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston and the seats average $100.

This is a real story.
Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world - playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

My Intention for today is:

I intend that I am aligned with the Highest Good in everything I say and do.

It works like this: when we make an intention - any intention - we always say that in order for it to manifest that it must serve the highest and best good of the Universe and the highest and best good for ourselves and everyone concerned. It's as simple as that! Oh, and by the way, even if we forget to say it, it's understood that the Highest Good clause is always in effect when we make our intentions.

A note from the Intenders Handbook:

When we first started to use the Intention Process, we thought that the only thing we were doing was learning how to manifest things so we'd be happier. It wasn't until we'd been at it for well over a year that we realized something else was happening. Not only were our dreams coming true, but we were also letting go of old stuff that we'd been hanging onto forever. It was that old stuff that was holding us back from living in our highest light. On one hand, our desires were being fulfilled; and, on the other hand, we were giving up our old desires that hadn't manifested. Pretty soon, we noticed that we didn't have as many desires as before. They had all either been manifested or let go of. That's when things started getting really good! We began to feel lighter and freer. The Intention Process was lining us up with our highest good, and what was being brought to us was a more wonderful, much grander gift than we had received from the small, mundane intentions that we had manifested since we first started. It was as if we were sprouting wings.

The Intenders Bridge - How to Think

A friend of mine invited me to an Intenders Circle last week and I loved it. It takes the Secret to the next level. This are the first 4 intentions....feel free to click on the link on the bottom and receive them as well.

The time is coming when you will have a thought
and it will be there

My Intention for today is:

I intend that I remember that what I am thinking and talking about all day long is what I am manifesting for myself.

You manifest what you say you want,
and you manifest what you say you don't want.

My Intention for today is: I intend that I am speaking only in the positive.

See the end result from the beginning

My Intention for today is: I intend that I am putting putting my imagination to it's best use by holding a vision of my ideal outcome.

Age with GRACE - Age Healthy

Glutathione is a compound classified as a tripeptide made of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Glutathione is also found in every part of the body, especially the lungs, intestinal tract, and liver. The body produces and stores the largest amounts of GSH in the liver, where it is used to detoxify harmful compounds so that they can be removed from the body through the bile. The liver also supplies GSH directly to red and white blood cells in the bloodstream; it helps keep red blood and white blood cells healthy to maximize the disease-fighting power of the immune system. Glutathione also appears to have an anti-aging affect on the body. GSH levels decline with age, and a lack of glutathione has been shown to leave the body more vulnerable to damage by free radicals, thus speeding up oxidation (wearing down) of the body.

What is the best thing we can do for ourselves to live a long healthy life? Increase Glutathione Levels. And How?
